MT. SUNAPEE CLASSIC CAR SHOW

This past Sunday, after eating at the Appleseed Inn, we went to the CLASSIC AUTO SHOW and luckily it did not rain enough to dampen the event, which featured cars, etc. old and new? I had some talks with one or two persons and then rode the new chair lift to the top, which fee was included in the admission. Memories of the place long before the ski/resort construction always come up when I visit that area and,of course, revolve somewhat around Camp Songataha(spelling) at Rand's Pond where I learned to swim. Will add more when I have more time.

The States of New England

Among the States of New England, the smallest is Rhode Island. Each state has its own statistics and history. The variations in speech, ranging from dialects to slang can be amazing but often stereotyped. Those who delve into languages are in for a lingual treat as elements of Native American, French, English(Olde), and others are blended into a virtual oral tapestry yet to be discovered by the casual tourist from elsewhere. The number of people from from around the world that now find location, work, and life in New England is amazing and more than most oldtime New Englanders realize!
